1. Categories of Telemetry Collected

Demandra collects data strictly required to model retail velocity and stock movements:

Checkout Receipt Telemetry: Timestamp, store identifier, terminal ID, SKU barcode, quantity purchased, and unit retail price.
Inventory Balance Logs: Physical audit counts, damaged goods write-offs, and inter-store transfer receipts.
Supplier Fulfillment Data: Purchase order numbers, supplier lead times, delivery manifests, and receiving bay timestamps.
Corporate Account Credentials: Corporate email addresses, user names, and role identifiers of authorized inventory managers.

2. Automatic Edge PII Stripping

Demandra is an inventory and demand forecasting platform, not a consumer tracking tool. Our store edge adapters strip all consumer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) — including credit card numbers, customer names, and telephone numbers — before receipt logs leave your local store server.

3. Lawful Processing & AI Modeling

Data processed by Demandra is used solely to generate statistical demand forecasts, calculate depletion velocities, compile purchase orders, and monitor warehouse turnaround times for the subscribing merchant.

We do not sell, rent, or trade merchant sales records to advertisers, consumer brands, or competing retailers.

4. Storage Security & Retention

All merchant data is stored in isolated Microsoft Azure Data Lake containers located in certified Azure cloud regions. Data is retained for the duration of the commercial agreement and permanently purged within thirty (30) days of contract termination.

5. NDPR & Statutory Compliance

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, authorized corporate users hold rights to access, rectify, or request deletion of their personal identity records managed in our user directories.
